What to eat in the Riviera Maya, Mexico - Part 1? Yucatan Peninsula foods you need to try!
The Mayan Riviera and the state of Quintana Roo are world famous for their beautiful sand beaches, great weather, and blue waters. But it is a relatively new area of Mexico - even the big tourist cities like Cancun and Playa del Carmen really only started being developed in the 1970s. Add on the fact that the tourist zones have restaurants featuring cuisines from across Mexico and the entire world. It can be difficult to know what foods are local to the area and which you need to make sure you try while you are in the Riviera Maya. In this video, I'd going to show a few of my favorites: cochinita pibil, poc chuc, sopa de lima, tamal brazo de reina, and xtabentún. These are Yucatan dishes that originate from the state of Yucatan but you can find them all over the Yucatan Peninsula if you know what to look for.
But there are more! Make sure to check out part two of my video on Riviera Maya foods where I show you some of the amazing fast foods and street foods that are out there.

Niagara Falls, Canada travel vlog Part 2 - Tourist traps, ghosts, zombies, and more waterfalls
Переглядів 32610 місяців тому
My first two days in Niagara Falls were amazing - I got to dive right into the wild tourist areas, golf with some dinosaurs, ride a rooftop roller coaster with Frankenstein's monster, see nightly fireworks shows, win some tiny prizes at a midway, see the amazing waterfalls, and even take a boat trip right into the waterfall's splash zone! It's been a few years since I've been back to Canada but...

    We have been to the Palace several times. It really does depend on which hotel you stay in. The Palace is much quieter as it costs more to stay there. The other hotels are a little cheaper and you tend to get a more party crowd. They have a new, All Adults hotel now too. Great review.

    We are stopping in IAD in business class for a 5 hr la😮yover b4 continuing to Spain. Would a local friend from Reston be able to stop and visit for a short time, be able to get in? If not where would be another option to meet someone?

      You would have to exit security and meet them in the pre-security area of the airport. Unfortunately IAD doesn't have much out there except some benches to sit on and a cafe or two. Almost all of the airport is past security.

    I would recommend at least £15-20/$15-20 /E10-20 MINIMUM! Bear in mind the guides are self employed, liable for tax and national insurance AND they have to pay the companies a marketing fee per person. If you pay very little you may wish to reflect on what the minimum wage is per hour in the country you live in? If its at least $10 an hour, which it probably will be ..then you shouldn't be offering $5-$10 for a two and a half hour walking tour! ?? Which, once the guide has paid their marketing fee, tax and insurance probably means they are losing money!!! ? All for your "free" tour..Be responsible, ( provided the tour is good obviously, ) and treat your guide accordingly...

    The first time this happened, shame on them. The second time this happened, shame on you. SPIRIT airlines don't care about the costumer, the only thing they care about is money. They changed gates at the airport, and when we reached to the second gate , it was closed. There was this mother with a baby. she begged the company to get her a fly that day; and simply they did not do it. we had to wait 2 more days in Florida get a fly to Northeast, and spend extra money in hotel, meals, and transportation.They won't spend a dime in a passenger. It was outrageous. A cheap flight becomes expensive with SPIRIT Airlines. I called the 866 # to complain, I was transfer to Kenia, the ladies over there simple did not do anything. She doesn't live in this this part of the world where Spirit airlines operates.

  • @davidperry4013
    @davidperry4013 Рік тому

    Spirit is great for college students and those of a lower income, and those that just want to go from point a to b and do not care about amenities. As long as you expect that all your getting with that cheap fare is a randomly selected seat and a personal item, and you are willing to accept that, there is no shame in flying spirit. Also they are rolling out better more comfortable seats a lot quicker than the rate at which frontier airlines is currently doing. So your 3 hour or longer bare fare flight in spirit will be bearable and comfortable.
